Philanthropy is a central part of what makes Higher Ground Dance Company so meaningful. Our team is proud to support the Andrea Rizzo Foundation, which provides dance therapy programs to children with cancer, giving them an opportunity to experience joy, movement, and self-expression during incredibly difficult times. In addition to this partnership, HGDC actively participates in Purdue Dance Marathon (PUDM), one of the largest student-run philanthropies in the country, raising funds and awareness for Riley Hospital for Children. We also take part in Purdue Day of Giving, coming together as a team to support causes that make a lasting impact both on campus and beyond.

Through these efforts, HGDC is able to combine our passion for dance with a greater purpose. Giving back is not just something we do—it’s a core part of who we are, bringing our team closer together while allowing us to make a real difference in the lives of others.
